Former Devsar MLA Amin Bhat Rejoins Congress

Srinagar: Former Devsar MLA Muhammad Amin Bhat on Wednesday rejoined the Congress party, marking his return to the party fold in the presence of senior leadership at a function held at Dak Bungalow Anantnag.

Political observers see Bhat’s return as a morale booster for Congress in South Kashmir, a region currently dominated by the National Conference (NC), which swept both the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
