Missing Forest Guard’s Body Recovered After Four Days in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, May 26: The body of a missing forest guard was recovered on Monday after four days of intensive search efforts in the Gundroshan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Sources told news agency JKNS that Shameem Ahmad Mir, a forest guard had gone missing in Nallah Sindh while on duty earlier this week.

After days of relentless rescue operations by local teams, his body was finally retrieved from the river near Gundroshan, they said.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
