Preparations for the Holy Month of Ramadan at Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid

Srinagar: Jama  Masjid held a preliminary meeting in connection with the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, chaired by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. The meeting was attended by the members and volunteers of Auqaf Jamia Masjid
During the meeting, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stressed the importance of connecting with the Almighty during this blessed month. He highlighted that the Jama Masjid is a place visited by hundreds of thousands of people every Ramadan, and emphasized the need for all arrangements, especially cleanliness, to be in place. He also stressed ensuring uninterrupted electricity water supply , smooth management of traffic and other essential facilities and in this regard ask the Auqaf to take up the issue with the concerned authorities 
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also encouraged and asked the youth to come forward and participate in these efforts, highlighting that serving the mosque and being a part of these  efforts is also considered ‘ibadah’ of Allah and has great reward.
Additionally, Jama Maajid  is undertaking an illumination project and facade lighting to be completed before Ramadan. Inshallah .Special audio-video equipment is also being installed in the women’s section of the mosque to enhance the prayer experience.
People are encouraged to participate in these efforts to ensure a blessed and smooth Ramadan.(KNS)
