Srinagar, Mar 29: Chairperson J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakshan Andrabi said on Saturday that all necessary preparations are in place for smooth Eid congregations across Jammu and Kashmir.
She stated that while weather conditions remain unpredictable, the J&K Waqf Board has taken all necessary measures to facilitate the smooth Eid prayers.
“Prominent places like Eidgah and Dargah are the spaces we have specially cleaned and prepared for the Eid prayers but we are a small department. The decision on where the prayer will happen and where not—that decision lies with the administration,” she said.
She thanked media and public for their continued support and trust in the Waqf Board.(agencies)
