Kulgam, Jun 10 : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Athar Amir khan A team of revenue Department led by Tehsildar Yaripora Javaid Iqbal along with Naib Tehsildar Yaripora, Mohmmad Zakir Mir and police carried out a demolition drive in Turigam Devbugh in Yaripora tehsil and demolished the structures which were raised illegally.
The authorities in Yaripora demolished the outer walls of Mushtaq Ahmed Mir in the Turigam Devbugh, Tehsil Yaripora area of Kulgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said, that a team of the Revenue Department Yaripora led a demolition drive to reclaim Kacharai / Common land, approximately 15 Marlas under Khasra no 776 from the “encroacher” Mushtaq Ahmed Mir
Tehsildar Yaripora Javaid Iqbal told Voice Tv Urdu that nobody is allowed to raise any structure without permission from the competent authority. These violators were informed time to time not to raise structures illegally and now officials were being forced to act tough.
“We demolished all these structures in area and in other parts, such structures will be dismantled as well. People are requested to refrain from such practices otherwise be ready for the action,” he said.
