Army Capable Of Dealing With Any Situation Along Borders:LG

Srinagar: Amid recent cross-border firing incidents Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday reaffirmed that the Indian Army is fully prepared to handle any situation and is giving a “befitting response” to enemy forces.

Speaking on the sidelines of a sports event, Sinha emphasized that security agencies have been directed to continue anti-militant operations without any pause to eradicate militancy and ensure peace in the region.

“The Indian Army is fully capable and responding appropriately on the border,” he told reporters when asked about the recent LoC incidents.

Sinha reiterated that security forces are working in close coordination and have been given clear instructions to dismantle the militant network.

He said there will be no pause in anti-militant operations. “The top priority is to maintain peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir,” he asserted.(KNT)
