Kupwara, Sep 28: Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt, killing two infiltrators along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.
Official sources said the movement of armed infiltrators across the LoC in the area was seen and security forces responded promptly and managed to foil the infiltration.
Earlier yesterday, Inspector General of BSF Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav said that security forces are maintaining maximum vigilance along the Line of Control (LoC) to counter infiltration attempts by infiltrator ahead of the winter season. (KNC)
