BJP Announces Candidates for Assembly By-Polls in J&K

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday announced the list of its candidates for the upcoming Assembly by-elections to be held across several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Telangana.

According to an official statement issued by the BJP Central Office, the Central Election Committee (CEC) has finalized and approved the names of candidates for various constituencies.

In Jammu and Kashmir, Aga Syed Mohsin has been nominated as the BJP candidate from Budgam constituency (No. 27), while Devyani Rana will contest from Nagrota constituency (No. 77).

In other states, Babulal Soren has been fielded from Ghatsila (ST) in Jharkhand, Jay Dholakia from Nuapada in Odisha, and Lankala Deepak Reddy from Jubilee Hills in Telangana.

The by-elections in these states are expected to be a crucial political test ahead of the next general elections, with major parties focusing on regional alliances and local leadership strength.(Source: KNC)
