Killing of Three Missing Persons by Militants in Kathua a ‘Matter of Grave Concern’: Dr Jitendra Singh

Jammu, Mar 9: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Sunday termed the killing of three missing persons from Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district by militants as a “matter of grave concern.”

Taking to X, the Minister of State (PMO) expressed his anguish over the incident, stating in Hindi that the brutal killing of three youths by militants in the Bani area of district Kathua is extremely sad and deeply concerning.

He wrote that there appears to be a larger conspiracy to disturb the peace in this region. “We have discussed the matter with the concerned officials. The Union Home Secretary himself is reaching Jammu to assess the situation on the ground. I am confident that such incidents will not recur, and public confidence will remain strong.”
