Pattan, April 23: A wave of sorrow swept through the Darul Mohsinat Girls Orphanage in Singhpora, Pattan, on Thursday morning after a 28-year-old cook tragically passed away due to a sudden cardiac Arrest. The untimely demise of the young woman has left the entire institution in deep shock and mourning.
Described by those who knew her as gentle, humble, and deeply dedicated, the deceased had become an integral part of the orphanage, caring for the children with compassion and sincerity. Her sudden passing has created an irreplaceable void, particularly among the young girls who saw her not just as a cook, but as a caring and nurturing figure in their daily lives.
Expressing profound grief over the tragic loss, JKECC Women’s Wing President Baramulla, Asiya Iqbal, extended her heartfelt condolences to the management of the institution, its staff, the children, and the bereaved family. She also conveyed her sympathies directly to the orphanage authorities and the children, acknowledging the deep emotional impact of the loss on the entire institution.
Recalling her recent interaction, Asiya Iqbal stated that she had met the deceased just a few days ago and was deeply touched by her humility, warmth, and kind-hearted nature. “Her simplicity and dedication were truly admirable. This is an irreparable loss not only for the institution but for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her,” she remarked.
The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the orphanage, with prayers being offered for the departed soul.
May the Almighty grant her the highest place in Jannah and bestow strength and patience upon her grieving family and all those affected by this heartbreaking loss.
