New Delhi, May 4: Baramulla Member of Parliament on Monday approached the seeking modification of his interim bail conditions in a terror funding case. He requested permission to travel to Delhi to be with his ailing father, who has been shifted from Srinagar to for treatment.
A bench comprising Justices and , which had earlier restricted Rashid to Srinagar during his one-week interim bail, listed the matter for hearing on Tuesday. The court also directed him to provide a local address in Delhi.
During the hearing, Rashid’s senior counsel informed the court that he has an official flat in Delhi allotted to him as a Member of Parliament. However, the bench observed that it would not allow him to stay at a residence that also accommodates other MPs.
Further proceedings in the case are expected on Tuesday.
