If unaddressed, people’s aspirations to snowball into ‘major problem’: Sajad Lone

Jammu , March 6: People’s Conference legislator Sajad Lone on Thursday cautioned that if people’s aspirations were not addressed, they could snowball into a major problem.Speaking on the Motion of Thanks to the LG’s address, Lone said the address did not reflect the aspirations of the people.

He said that there was no mention of these aspirations in the speech.
Terming the LG’s address as an attempt to normalize the events of August 5, 2019, Lone described it as a “love letter to the BJP.”

Taking a dig at the National Conference, he accused the ruling party of failing to deliver on the promises specified in its menifesto.

“In the LG’s address, there was no mention of Article 370 or the dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits,” Lone said.

He asserted that a clear message should go out from the House that what happened on August 5 was unjustified.
