SHO among several cops injured after police team attacked in Bari Brahmana Jammu

Srinagar, April 10: Several policemen, including a Station House Officer (SHO), were injured in an attack by alleged drug peddlers in the Bari Brahmana area of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir late last night.

Reports said that a police team visited the Balole Khad area last night in the pursuit of some criminals.

However, the team was attacked by the criminals, leaving several cops, including the SHO, injured.They said three injured, including the SHO, were moved to a hospital in Amritsar for treatment.An official said the area was cordoned off by the police to nab the attackers.
