Three-year-old Boy dies after drowning in Bandipora

Bandipora, May 17: A tragic incident occurred in the Kulhama area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Saturday when a three-year-old boy died after drowning in water.

An official told news agency JKNS that the child accidentally slipped and drowned in water. Despite efforts by locals to rescue him, he could not be saved.

The deceased has been identified as Muzamil Ahmed Kundoo, son of Irshad Ahmed Kundoo, a resident of Kulhama Bandipora, official said.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started.(Agencies)
