Leopard Attack in Khansahib Leaves Several Injured

Budgam, June 7 : At least four were injured after a suspected leopard attack in Bhat Mohalla area of Khansahib in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.

An official told news agency JKNS that the wild animal suddenly appeared in the locality, creating panic among residents. In the chaos, the leopard reportedly attacked multiple individuals before disappearing into nearby fields.

The injured have been shifted to a local hospital, with at least two said to have sustained serious injuries.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
