Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai appointed as Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy)

New Delhi: Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai has been elevated to the office of the Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy). All the operational verticals of the Indian Army shall report to the Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Security).

Lt Gen Ghai will continue to hold the charge of Director General of Military Operations, reports further added. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi had earlier emphasized the growing importance of technology in modern warfare.
