Encounter breaks out in Udhampur’s Basantgarh

Jammu, June 26 (KNO): Encounter broke out between security forces and militants in Basantgarh area of Udhampur on Thursday morning, the Army said here.

In a post on X, Army’s White Knight Corps, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said based on a specific input, a joint operation was launched in the Bihali arwa of Basantgarh.

The Army said contact has been established with militants and the operation is in progress.
