One Killed, Nine Injured in Mini-Bus Accident in Udhampur

Udhampur, Aug 6: One woman was killed and nine others sustained injuries when a mini-bus met with an accident near Shardha Mata Temple on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur on Wednesday.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, that the injured were immediately shifted to the Associated Hospital of Government Medical College Udhampur for treatment.

“Unfortunately, one lady died in the mishap while nine others have been hospitalized. Police are on the job, and further investigation is underway,” the official said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNC)
