Cloudburst Hits Ghati Kathua; 4 Dead, Several Injured

Kathua, Aug 17: Four persons were killed and several others injured after a cloudburst hit Ghati area of Kathua district on Sunday morning.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, four persons died and several others were injured, while the rescue operation was underway, the official said.

The incident damaged several houses, local police station, railway track, and stretches of the National Highway in Janglot and adjoining areas, official said.

Rescue operations are underway to clear debris and provide relief to the affected families. (KNC)
