Delhi Court Rejects Engineer Rashid’s Interim Bail Plea to visit Ailing Father

New Delhi, April 24: A court in has rejected the interim bail application of Baramulla Member of Parliament , who had sought temporary release to visit his critically ill father.

According to , the plea was filed earlier this week on humanitarian grounds. Rashid stated in his application that his father is in critical condition, currently on ventilator support, and undergoing treatment.

Senior leader Sheikh Ashiq confirmed that the court declined the request for interim bail.

Engineer Rashid represents the Baramulla constituency in the Lok Sabha and had requested temporary relief citing urgent family circumstances. However, the court did not grant permission for his release.
