Massive Fire engulfs Seven Residential Houses in Baramulla’s Old Town; F&ES on Job

Srinagar, Mar 24: A massive fire broke out in Jalal Mohalla, Old Town Baramulla, on Monday evening, damaging at least seven residential houses.

An official told news agency JKNS that the fire engulfed several residential structures, prompting an immediate response from Fire and Emergency Services.

“Fire tenders, with the active help of local residents, have launched a joint rescue and firefighting operation to control the blaze and prevent further damage,” the official said.

The official added that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and efforts are underway to bring the situation under control.
