Srinagar April 5:In a significant security development, alert Border Security Force (BSF) troops foiled a potential infiltration attempt along the International Border (IB) in the Jammu sector during the intervening night of April 4 and 5, 2025.
According to a statement issued by JKNS by the BSF Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Jammu, troops observed suspicious movement near the border and identified an intruder crossing into Indian territory. Despite repeated warnings, the individual continued advancing.
“BSF troops, sensing a potential threat, neutralised the intruder,” the statement said. The identity and motive of the intruder are currently under investigation.
