Youth Dies After Falling from Masjid Slab in Handwara

Handwara, April 15: A 25-year-old youth died after falling from a Mosque Slab in Rajwar Handwara this Morning.

As per reports reaching Alfaaz – The Words, the tragedy unfolded after one Mohammad Saleem, son of Mohammad Yousuf, lost his life after falling from the slab of a Mosque in the locality.

Saleem was Sprinkling Water on the slab when he accidentally slipped and fell, sustaining a severe head injury, the reports said.


He was immediately referred to GMC Handwara, however he died en-route.

Initial claims suggested he died due to an electric shock; however, doctors have denied this and confirmed that the cause of death was head trauma.

Further investigation are underway.
