Amit Shah to Visit Jammu on May 29-30

Jammu, May 27: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu on May 29 and 30, during which he is expected to review the security situation and hold key meetings with local officials and stakeholders.

Sources indicate that the Home Minister may also travel to Poonch to meet with victims of cross-border shelling, as part of the government’s outreach to affected families in border areas.

The visit comes amid heightened focus on border security and development initiatives in the Union Territory.(Agencies)
