BSF trooper goes missing from battalion headquarters in Srinagar

Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan posted in Srinagar has gone missing from the battalion headquarters in Panthachowk late Thursday night, July 31, India Today reported.

The missing personnel, identified as Sugam Choudhary of the 60th Battalion, could not be located despite a large-scale search operation launched in surrounding areas. A missing report has been formally filed.

The incident comes at a time when security forces have intensified anti-militancy operations across Jammu Kashmir, particularly in the wake of the April 22 attack in Pahalgam.
