Two Electrocuted to death While Saving Goods in Flood-Hit Anantnag Market

SRINAGAR: Two persons lost their lives due to an electric shock while attempting to save goods from a flooded market in Gangiwara area near Achabal Adda of Anantnag district on Wednesday.

Officials said that the incident occurred when the victims came in contact with a live wire while trying to retrieve belongings from inundated shops.

Rescue teams rushed to the spot, but both were declared dead. Authorities have urged people in flood-affected areas to exercise extreme caution, particularly near submerged electric installations. (KNC)
