Kishtwar Gunfight with Militants Ongoing: Army

SRINAGAR: Indian Army on Sunday said that its troops came under fire while conducting an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kishtwar.


In a post on X, White Knight Corps of Indian Army as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC wrote, “Alert troops of #WhiteKnightCorps at around 1 pm today, while carrying out an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kishtwar, established contact with terrorists. Fire was exchanged with terrorists. Operation is in progress.”


Security sources confirmed that the operation is ongoing, with troops cordoning off the area and continuing search and engagement activities.
