11 family members fall ill after consuming ‘Wild herbs in mawer Qalamabad Village

Kupwara Nov 24 : Atleast 11 people of one family have fallen ill after consuming Wild herbs in inderdaji Nowgam village of north Kashmir’s kupwara district on Monday sources said here.

Sources told News agency—APINEWS that the around 11 family members complained of vomiting and loose—motion after they consumed the wild herbs.

“Hearing this incident, the Authorities took immediate action and dispatched the medical teams to the area for verifying the matter, ” they said.

“However, around 11 family members of mohd yousf khan son of Gh nabi khan inderdaji Nowgam who have complained of vomiting, diarrhoea and dysentery were admitted so far at District Hospital Handwara, “the officials added.

They futher said that so far, the information we are receiving seems to be due to food poisoning—(API)
