Woman Killed, Man Injured After Vehicle Falls into Gorge in Uri

Baramulla, Apr 5 : A woman died while a man sustained injuries after a vehicle met with an accident in Syedpora area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that a vehicle bearing registration number JK09C-1649 skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Syedpora, with two persons on board.

In the incident, a woman died on the spot, while the other occupant, a man, suffered injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
