Give NC govt time: Ravinder Raina

Srinagar, Feb 25: Senior BJP leader Ravinder Raina today said that the National Conference (NC) government should be given  some more time to deliver but questions should be asked to it after six months.

Talking to KNS, he said, “We should give the NC government time of six months to make some big decisions. People have given the mandate, and we should wait for two more months. I guess then people will start asking questions if they do not deliver in six months.”

Expressing his strong stance against substance abuse, he reiterated his support for a complete ban on alcohol and drugs. “I am personally in support of a complete ban on alcohol and drugs. Even I had submitted a bill in the assembly for that,” he stated.

Raina also expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah would fulfill their commitment to restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir at the appropriate time. “I am sure PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah will fulfill their promise of statehood at the right time,” he added.(Agencies)
