Noida, March 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that India is tackling the challenges arising from the ongoing crisis in West Asia with full strength, assuring that the government is taking all necessary measures to safeguard citizens and protect the economy.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, the Prime Minister said the conflict in the region has been continuing for over a month and has significant global repercussions, particularly in the energy sector.

Government Monitoring Fuel and Supply Chains
Modi noted that India relies heavily on crude oil and gas imports from countries in West Asia, and the government is closely monitoring the situation to ensure that the impact does not fall on ordinary citizens, farmers, or businesses.

He said coordinated efforts are underway to maintain stable fuel supplies, prevent price shocks, and ensure uninterrupted availability of essential commodities across the country.
