Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Bereaved: Father-in-Law Passes Away

Srinagar, February 27,2025: With profound grief and sadness we announce the passing of Dr. Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, father-in-law of Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq.

He passed away in the late hours of the night after a prolonged illness. Nimaz-e-Janaza for the departed will be offered at Jama Masjid Srinagar after Zuhr prayers. Later, he will be buried at his ancestral graveyard in Khrew, Pampore. Condolences (Taziyat) will be received at his residence- House no 207, Sector B, Westend Colony Near Tengpora Bridge Hyderpora, Srinagar.(Agencies)
