NIA raids 12 locations in Jammu over militant infiltration case

Jammu, Mar 19 (KNO): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at 12 locations in Jammu in connection with a case related to militant infiltration from across the border.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the raids were carried out at premises linked to overground workers (OGWs), hybrid militants and sympathizers of militant outfits.

The case (RC-04/2024/NIA/JMU) was registered by the NIA on October 24, 2024, following directions from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

These infiltrations were allegedly facilitated by OGWs and militant associates in Jammu region villages, who provided logistical support, including food, shelter, and financial aid to the infiltrators, officials said—(KNO)
