Woman Killed, Another Injured In Cross Border Shelling In Uri

Srinagar, May 8: A woman was killed while as another was injured in cross-border shelling in Uri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

Officials told GNS that a vehicle which was travelling from Razerwani to Baramulla was hit with a shell near Mohura.

In this incident one woman namely Nargis Begum wife of Basheer Khan resident of Razarwani was killed. While as another woman namely Hafeeza wife of Razeek Ahmad Khan was injured. She was immediately rushed to GMC Baramulla for treatment.

An health official at GMC Baramulla also confirmed to GNS about death of a woman and injury to another.

Pertinently, past few days Pak has been continously shelling the border areas in Uri, Kupwara parts of North Kashmir.(GNS)
