Kulgam,June 17 : Family members of a pregnant lady, who died at Government District Hospital Kulgam on Tuesday, alleged medical negligence by hospital authorities in the death.The family members of the deceased woman identified as Nancy Jan , 30 years old resident of Srandoo kulgam, held a protest at district hospital kulgam against hospital authorities alleging that “She was not given proper treatment which consequently led to her death”.The relatives of the deceased lady have demanded stern action against the doctors, who they said were supposed to be present.Medical Superintendent of Kulgam, Dr A G Raina said that She died of sudden cardiac arrest, as per doctors who were present “An enquiry has been initiated in this regard and the committee has been asked to submit the report.Whosoever will be found involved in any kind of negligence will take action against him,” he added.
