Flash floods in Budgam areas, Hakeem Yasin expresses concern

Budgam, July 9, 2025 President of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front and former Cabinet Minister, Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen,has expressed deep anguish and concern over the catastrophic situation.The recent flood has unleashed unprecedented destruction upon the scenic areas of Raiyar, Kangripora, and other parts of Khansahib in Budgam, leaving an indelible mark of devastation.

The deluge has resulted in significant loss of property and infrastructure, plunging the local population into unimaginable distress. The floodwaters have wreaked havoc on roads, trees, houses, and walls, , disrupting the normal life of the people and rendering them helpless.

The people of Area and other affected areas are facing immense difficulties due to the flood.I request the authorities to provide immediate relief and assistance to the affected families and take necessary steps to restore normalcy in the region.

Hakeem Yaseen said I urge the administration to visit the site immediately, assess the issue, and take prompt action to resolve it. The people of villages like Raiyar ich, Kangripora, and other affected areas of khansahib are facing immense difficulties due to the flood, and it is the responsibility of the authorities to provide them with immediate relief and assistance.
