Our kindness should not be mistaken for weakness: CM Omar

JULY 15: A day after smashing the barriers and offering prayers at Martyrs’ Graveyard, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah launched a scathing attack on Central leadership and LG Manoj Sinha citing that our kindness should not be mistaken for weakness.

CM Omar Abdullah said, “Some people are mistaken that we don’t speak in high-pitch, we don’t give threats, we don’t do holiganism, hence we are weak. This is wrong…”

“I didn’t complain for 8 months and but this time the situation was obstreperous, ” CM Omar said.

“We will not play with the dreams of people of Jammu and Kashmir… If yesterday’s unfortunate incident wouldn’t have happened, people would not have understood us. We will never escape from our responsibilities,” said CM.

CM Omar Abdullah said, “We have been given 5 years and after 5 years we will present our report card and that I am confident, it will be appreciated by the people who will vote us again”

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the new block of Bone & Joint Hospital, Barzulla, a significant step towards strengthening specialized healthcare infrastructure in J&K.

CM Omar said, “The upgraded facilities will greatly enhance patient care and medical services in the region.”
