Family of Four, Driver Injured in Road Accident Near Cheshmashahi Srinagar

Srinagar, July 27: Five people, including a family of four and an auto-rickshaw driver, were injured after their vehicle skidded off the road near Cheshmashahi in Srinagar this afternoon.

According to officials, the auto-rickshaw lost control and veered off the road, resulting in injuries to all occupants. The injured were rushed to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Hospital sources confirmed that all five are in stable condition. They have been identified as Zameer Ahmad Raja, a resident of Tangdar; Naseema Begum, wife of Zameer Ahmad; Rabiya, daughter of Zameer Ahmad; Umar Zameer, son of Zameer Ahmad; and Sahil, the auto-rickshaw driver.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
