Classwork in Kashmir Schools to Resume from September 8: DSEK

Srinagar, Sep 4 : The Directorate of School Education Kashmir on Thursday ordered resumption of classwork in all Government and Private Schools across Kashmir Division from Monday, September 8, 2025.

In an official order accessed by news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the Directorate said that in the backdrop of the recent inclement weather, floods, and gusty winds which left several school buildings submerged and some damaged, it has become essential to ensure safety of premises before reopening.

“All Heads of Institutions (HoIs) and staff must ensure proper cleanliness and sanitization of classrooms and school premises in advance so that classwork is conducted in a safe, clean, and hassle-free environment,” the order reads.
