Gunshots Heard Near forward Base in Doda-Udhampur border

Srinagar: Gunshots were heard at the forward base in Doda-Udhampur border area of Udhampur Jammu division on Friday evening.

A top police officer told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that, some gunshots were heard near the Doda-Udhampur Boarder.

Troops immediately went on alert and launched searches to ascertain the source of the firing.

However, there was no immediate report of any casualties or injuries, further details awaited.
