BJP Announces Candidates for Rajya Sabha Elections

Srinagar, Oct 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Jammu and Kashmir.

According to party sources, Ghulam Muhammad Mir, Rakesh Mahajan, and Sat Pal Sharma have been nominated to contest for the three seats allocated to the Union Territory.

Party leaders said the decision reflects the BJP’s strategy to maintain regional balance and organizational strength in Jammu and Kashmir.

The elections are expected to play a key role in shaping the BJP’s representation from the region in the Upper House.
