Two Militants Killed as Army Foils Infiltration Bid in Kupwara

Srinagar, November 8, 2025: Security forces in the Keran sector of the Kupwara district successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control, resulting in the elimination of two militants, officials said.

The operation—identified as “OP PIMPLE” by the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army—began when troops detected suspicious movement and engaged the infiltrators in a brief exchange of fire.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Chinar Corps confirmed:
“Two terrorists have been neutralised by the security forces in the ongoing operation. Search of the area is in progress.”

The search of the area remains ongoing, as clearance continues and security forces investigate the exact infiltration path and affiliations of the militants.
