SOG Jawan Critically Injured During Ongoing Udhampur Encounter

Udhampur, Dec 15 : One Special Operation Group (SOG) personnel was critically injured as an encounter continues between militants and security forces in the Udhampur district of on Monday.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, that security forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area following credible intelligence about the presence of militants . The operation escalated after the militants opened fire, leading to an ongoing exchange of gunfire.

Reinforcements have been rushed to the site, and the situation remains tense. Health condition of the injured jawan and the progress of the operation are awaited. (KNC)
