Army JCO Dies After Suffering Gunshot Injury While on Duty

Jammu, Dec 24: An Army Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) lost his life while performing duty in Jammu and later succumbed to his injuries, sources said on Wednesday.

Defence sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the incident occurred while the JCO was on duty. He was immediately rushed for medical treatment but could not survive.

At this stage, officials have ruled out any terror-related angle. The circumstances leading to the incident are being investigated, and further details will be shared as the inquiry progresses, sources said.
