Administers Oath to Shantmanu as State Election Commissioner

Jammu, Feb 21: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, , on Saturday administered the oath of office to Shantmanu as the State Election Commissioner at a ceremony held at Lok Bhavan.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister , Deputy Chief Minister , Legislative Assembly Speaker , members of the Council of Ministers, the Chief Secretary, and the Director General of Police, along with other senior officials and dignitaries.

Following the administration of the oath, Shantmanu formally assumed charge as the State Election Commissioner. The ceremony was conducted in a dignified manner in the presence of top administrative and government officials.
