Largest Youm-e-Quds Rally Held in Budgam Under the Leadership of Aga Syed Hassan

Srinagar, Mar 13: On the occasion of Jumat-ul-Vida and International Youm-e-Quds, large congregations, Friday prayers, and Quds rallies were organized across different parts of the Kashmir Valley under the banner of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Jammu & Kashmir. Thousands of people participated in these gatherings and rallies, expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and protesting against what they described as the aggressive policies of the United States and Israel. Participants also renewed their pledge of allegiance to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei.

Quds rallies were held at several locations including Budgam, Hassanabad (Srinagar), Yagipora Magam, Chadoora, Suthsoo Kalan, Nowgam Sonawari, Sona Pah Beerwah, Inderkote Sumbal, Chitragam, Sofipora Pahalgam, and Wokharwan Pulwama, where large numbers of people joined the processions.

The largest congregation of Jumat-ul-Vida was held at Markazi Imambara Budgam, where thousands of believers offered Friday prayers under the leadership of Hujjat-ul-Islam wal Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi, President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian. After the prayers, a large Quds procession was taken out under his leadership, moving towards the Old Bus Stand Budgam.

Addressing the gathering, Aga Syed Hassan said that Jumat-ul-Vida is not only a religious occasion but also a symbol of the unity of the Muslim Ummah, collective awareness, and renewed commitment to support oppressed people. He stated that the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA), declared International Youm-e-Quds to send a clear message to the Muslim world that the liberation of Palestine and the restoration of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) is the shared responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah.

Referring to the current global situation, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is standing with courage and determination against what he described as the joint aggression of the United States and Israel, which he said is a matter of pride for the Muslim world. He added that Iran’s greatest strength lies in its people, whose unwavering support has made the Islamic system strong and stable.

He further said that the strong support of the Iranian nation has defeated the alleged conspiracies of the United States and Israel, and that this public backing remains the main source of strength for the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Aga Hassan also stated that the selection of Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of Iran reflects the continuity of the Islamic Revolution and the strength of the system of Wilayat. He expressed full confidence in his leadership and reaffirmed the loyalty of the Shia community of Kashmir to the system of Wilayat.

Meanwhile, thousands of people also offered Friday prayers at the Qadeemi Imambara Hassanabad Srinagar, led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Aga Syed Mojtaba Abbas Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi. After the prayers, a large Youm-e-Quds rally was held there as well.

Addressing the rally, Aga Syed Mojtaba Abbas said that Youm-e-Quds represents the determination of oppressed nations, the spirit of resistance, and global awareness against powerful forces. He claimed that the United States and Israel have historically contributed to conflicts and instability in the Muslim world.

He added that as long as Israel’s occupation continues, many crises in the Muslim world will persist. He also said that despite expectations that Iran would weaken, the courage and resilience of Iran’s leadership and its people have frustrated the plans of their opponents.

Concluding his speech, he announced that the Shia community of Kashmir renews its pledge of allegiance to the Wali-e-Faqih, Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei, and will continue raising its voice for the freedom of oppressed nations, especially the people of Palestine. (KNS)
