Islamabad: Iran’s Foreign Minister has arrived in Islamabad once again after concluding his visit to Oman, as part of his ongoing three-nation tour, and ahead of his planned trip to Russia.
He was received on Sunday afternoon at Nur Khan Air Base by Pakistan’s Interior Minister and Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan .
This marks Araghchi’s second visit to Pakistan within 48 hours, where he is expected to hold key consultations on regional developments. Reports suggest that part of his delegation had earlier returned to Tehran to seek guidance on issues related to the US-Israeli war situation and is expected to rejoin him in Islamabad before the delegation departs for Moscow.
At the start of his tour, arrived in Islamabad on Friday night, leading a delegation and holding separate meetings with Pakistan’s top leadership, including Army Chief , Prime Minister , and Foreign Minister .
He later traveled to Muscat, where he met with Oman’s Sultan and Foreign Minister . Discussions focused on bilateral relations and the evolving regional situation.
Following consultations in Islamabad, the Iranian foreign minister is expected to proceed to Moscow for further high-level talks on regional and international issues.
