Man Killed in Scuffle Between Two Groups in Srinagar

Srinagar, April 28: A violent scuffle between two groups in the Bemina area of Srinagar turned fatal on Tuesday, officials said.

The incident took place at Khumani Chowk, where an altercation broke out between two groups and later escalated as their relatives joined in.

According to an official, a man sustained serious injuries during the clash. He was immediately shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Syed Adil, son of Syed Manzoor, a resident of Khumani Chowk, Bemina.

Police have registered an FIR, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
