Militant Killed in Ongoing Kathua Encounter

Srinagar, Mar 27 (KB): A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in Kathua.

An official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that a militant has been killed in forces’ action in Juthana area.

“The identity of the militant is yet to be ascertained,” said the official.

Pertinent to mention here that two police personnel sustained injuries in the initial exchange of gunfire earlier in the day.

The operation is being closely monitored by IGP Jammu and IG CRPF.
