Shopian Man Battling for Life Following Dog Bite, Succumbs

SRINAGAR: A Shopian man passed away on Tuesday after battling for his life for several days at a Srinagar hospital.

Officals said that the deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz Abdullah, son of Mohd Imtiyaz Wani and a resident of Chowgam Shopian, who passed away on Tuesday, days after being bitten by a dog.

They said the deceased had been undergoing treatment at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital following the dog bite. Despite medical care, he succumbed to his injuries today morning. (KNC)
